About Founder & President
At Fortwyn Advisory, I help dealer principals, private equity firms, and family offices successfully navigate one of the most pivotal moments in their business journey: the acquisition or sale of a dealership. I specialize in guiding clients through the high-stakes, highly scrutinized world of OEM applications and approvals, ensuring every transaction not only closes, but gets the manufacturer’s blessing without disrupting operations or missing a beat with customers.
Before founding Fortwyn, I spent nearly a decade leading Corporate Development for a mid-sized private automotive group, where I oversaw 34 transactions involving 60+ rooftops and 17 OEM brands. From sourcing and structuring deals to leading financial modeling, negotiating terms, and managing manufacturer relations, I’ve lived every side of the deal: buy-side, sell-side, and post-close integration.
What sets me apart is my deep familiarity with the OEM approval process. I’ve earned the trust of nearly every major brand through methodical planning, precise execution, and a clear understanding of what matters to both the manufacturer and the operator. In addition to my OEM expertise and long-standing relationships, I also bring a strong network of industry professionals, including attorneys, dealer associations, accountants, and operators, that I can tap into to ensure you get the right support and advice for your specific needs.

Named one of Automotive News’ Top 40 Under 40 in 2024, I bring a unique combination of boardroom experience and boots-on-the-ground grit, from early days working on drilling rigs in Northern Canada, where I learned the value of grit and precision under pressure, to analyzing public companies and delivering investment insights to some of the largest institutional investors as an Equity Research Analyst. That range gives me a rare perspective: I can speak the language of Owners, Wall Street, OEMs, and frontline GMs, all in the same conversation.
